In our clinical practice, on day to day basis, we see cases in which if emergency medical assistance is not provided, it can endanger patients life. Cases vary from heart attack to paralysis to shock. Patient or relatives are in situation are not able to handle or manage situation by themselves. Often they call on 108 or ambulance services. We provide ambulance services which are well equipped with anesthetists and paramedics. They are called ICU on wheels.

Patients treatment should begin once ambulance has reached to patient, care must not wait until patient reaches hospital. We can effectively co ordinate with ambulance staff and give treatment accordingly. Certain conditions can get improvement with treatment in ambulance itself like hypoglycemia or acute asthma.

Upon arrival of the patient we have 24 hours availability of doctor and paramedics who are trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. State of the art machinery like defibrillator, ventilator are always kept available and make sure they are in proper
condition and calibrated at our set up. First aid treatment are always given to patients who have injury or electric shock, dog bite or burns. Emergency and life saving medicines are made available for prompt use in critical conditions.

24 hours availability of laboratory and pharmacy are essential for emergencies and made available at Sangini Hospital. Once patient is stabilized, their condition and prognosis are well discussed with relatives at our set up and they are being given idea of approximate expenses and duration of stay.
